The Yoghurt Shop expanding to South East Asia

Yoghurt Shop business  development manager, Brandon Reynolds said after working with partners on the ground in Hong Kong for many months, the yoghurt will be available at approximately 50 sites in Hong Kong.

Working with one of the largest food retailers in Hong Kong and Singapore, Dairy Farm International Holdings, The Yoghurt Shop will be stocked in Oliver’s and Marketplace by Jason supermarkets.

In August 2017, The Yoghurt Shop entered the Brunei market, and the company said it is looking to expand into the entire South East Asia region by 2022.

The Yoghurt Shop managing director, Simon Reynolds, said the Hong Kong launch is part of the company’s paced and community-based rollout across South East Asia.

“Looking forward to the next 12 months, we expect to triple our export sales in South East Asia from 3% of our total business to around 8%, with expansion in Hong Kong and Singapore as well as entry to Thailand and mainland China,” Reynolds said.

The Yoghurt Shop produces and exports more than 30 variations of retail yoghurt and 10 flavors of frozen yoghurt, as well as a range of granolas and frozen berries from its South Australia based factory.
